Great Mexican food, always made to order and piping hot. I have been getting takeout from this restaurant for years (before they moved locations). The food is delicious and authentic. I am from Southern California and Mexican food doesn't get much better than this. I have had everything from the tacos to the burritos to sopes. I am never disappointed. The food is always super hot and fresh. The salsa is mild but has a great flavor. I love it. I love the carnitas and carne asada (personal preferences). This is a great restaurant for takeout or to eat in. The family who owns it is very friendly. I will definitely keep coming back for years to come. I try to make it here every time I visit Bullhead/Laughlin.

Solid Mexican food and great service. Bean and cheese burrito was huge. I could barely finish half of it. The roasted peppers we're great too. Not my favorite guac but I didn't need it with how full I was from the giant burrito. The tortilla was my favorite part. I could just order tortillas next time and dip them in the hot sauce.

I have been coming to Los Potales for over 15 years. For the 9 years I lived in Bullhead City I would eat there 3 times a week. Since I moved anytime I am within a 3 hour radius I will drive to eat there. Everything on the menu is outstanding however my absolute favorite thing is their Carnitas burrito cover in their HOT sauce. I have been fortunate enough to travel the United States and to this day I have not found a better burrito. Try the carnitas burrito with rice beans cheese and pico. I promise you that you will NOT be disappointed. It's a small quant little place but the food is the BEST !!!

I was pleasantly surprised. I saw the yelp reviews and figured what the heck. I ordered the carnitas, they were very good. Plenty of food. And it came out fast. Guess being the only group there helped. My only issue is no chips and salsa. A Mexican restaurant must have chips and salsa!. So all in all worth the $ for a good quick bite.

Los Portales is a local place, not readily visible or accessible to the wandering tourist. We found it here on Yelp and decided to try it because of its 5 star rating. We have to concur, that this place is a gem. No stars for decor or menu design, it was clean enough, and there is no wait staff to coddle you. The guy working the counter took care of us very we'll. the food came fast and it was some of the best aMexican I've had in a very long time! I had the special three soft tacos for $3.99! My boys both loved their enchiladas plus tacos and my wife devoured her Sopes platter! If your heading north from Needles to Bullhead City, stop at Los Portales, you won't be disappointed!

My family moved from Flagstaff where we grew up with authentic Mexican food and were in need great food. After trying all the places people in town recommended, we found this place that has great service, friendly environment, AUTHENTIC Mexican food and fast/delicious cooking staff. This is the place to go to if you love Mexican food! I will continue going to Los Portales and continue -Highly- recommending this place to any and everyone!

Finally found an amazing Mexican restaurant!! The best Mexican food in town! My family loves this place! You really cant go wrong.ive been to a few Mexican places around here and they just couldn't get the carne asada right this place is outstanding, perfect seasoning, perfect meat you won't be disappointed.

Sitting here right now and felt compelled to write a review because our food was so good! I had the chicken taco plate that comes with rice and beans. All of it was delicious! My husband had the Chile Verde and was quite impressed, and he is hard to please! Definitely recommend this place!

Contrary to reports I saw. This place is most certainly not closed. I was there just the other day. And let me tell you. I was floored by the food! Just a tiny little store, with flavor bigger than Mohave Valley! I just moved to the area, and luckily stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant. If you're in the Laughlin/Bullhead City/Ft. Mohave area.. You owe it to yourself to try it. Great prices! And even better food!!

My brother and I went to visit my mother in Bullhead City so we decided to buy her some menudo. This is my mothers favorite place for menudo and I do agree with her it's very good. We've been here before and have had their machaca plate and it was excellent. The place is small and it's a family run place. The owners are friendly and make you feel welcome. Their prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food for the price. My brother and I ordered two bean & cheese burritos for ourself. Their beans are excellent and tasty too. A bean & cheese burrito this is alway a good indicator on wether a place is worth coming back to. If a place screws up a bean & cheese forget it and move on. So if your driving thru Fort Mohave give this place a try. Menudo Served Daily!

Delicious food- just the great Mexican food we were looking for while driving through Arizona. Beans are excellent. We also had the shrimp ranchero. Flour tortillas are fresh and taste like the ones my nana used to make. Carnitas are excellent as well. What a great hole in the wall.
